Hi, we are Teardrop covers!
WHO ARE WE?
Teardrop covers is a 4 member cover group based near Barcelona, Spain.
We cover mainly kpop songs (but we're open to learn other choreographies too!)
Until the day, we make no profit from our videos, we do this because we enjoy it!
If we were to make any profit though, it'd probably just go into creating better content
(better outfits, better camera work, etc.)
Okay but like, why teardrop though ?
The story is pretty simple, we were trying to come up with our name
and one of our members started going through kpop song's lyrics, trying to find a word he liked.
He stumbled upon Namjoon's rap in BTS' "Blood sweat & tears" and found the word "눈물" (nunmul).
Not gonna lie, I didn't think it was specially pretty, at least until we translated it and it gave us the word "Teardrop".
There was something to the word "Teardrop" ( i still can't point out what),
but we figured we all liked it thus we set it as our name.
In fact, Teardrop can mean many things: we cry when we are sad, but also out of happiness.
Teardrops are a way of expressing emotions, just like dance is for us too.
The same way teardrops are present both in bad and good moments,
we hope you can rely on us in the bad times, but also enjoy our content if you're happy.
And as a group, we know we all have good and bad days, and we hope our friendship is a constant
both in good and bad moments, just like teardrops are.
